Family owned and operated since 1991, Kim’s Piano stores have been earning the trust of professional artists, piano teachers, Hollywood celebrities and piano students ever since. Over the years, we have cultivated three showrooms with a specialization in 8 hand-crafted brands and over 200 pianos available to suit all abilities and price ranges from beginners to professional pianists.
We offer three Kim’s Piano locations in Southern California. Along with our established stores in Tustin and the City of Industry, we now offer our newest location – our flagship store in Stanton. This beautiful showroom has the honor of being one of the largest piano showrooms in Southern California. With its high ceilings and wooden floors, the Stanton store has been custom built from top to bottom, allowing the sounds of our beautiful grand and upright pianos to be heard at their fullest potential.
A few notes about us
Kim’s Piano was founded by David Kim who began his career as a piano technician in Garden Grove, California in 1987 and eventually open his first piano store. Since its humble beginnings, the small Southern California-based piano store has grown – with much of it driven by word-of-mouth – to become one of the largest and most prestigious piano dealers in California.
Kim’s Piano remains truly family owned and operated. David Kim now co-manages the business with his son, Benjamin Kim, and together, they offer the largest selection of brand name and pre-owned grand and upright pianos with outstanding service to local communities as well as out-of-state customers. Our piano customers come from a variety of backgrounds including families, teachers, institutions, professional artists, and Hollywood celebrities.
Kim’s Piano has received many industry honors and has been recognized for its excellence in customer service, outstanding selection, and competitive prices. The business was awarded the Kawai and Shigeru Kawai “Dealer of the Year” honors at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Show for 8 of the past 18 years, a distinction that has been given to only a handful of piano dealers in the United States.
