Extremely Rare 1942 Vintage Steinway & Sons Model AIII.
Beautiful refinished in high gloss Sapeli Mahogany.
This is a stretched Model A. The normal Model A is 6’2″, the stretched Model A is 6′”4 1/2. Giving it a bigger and fuller balanced tone. Steinway & Sons actually stopped making the stretched AIII Model because it competed too much with the Model B.
Rebuilt and refinished in 2018 with:
- new strings
- new tuning pins
- new action parts.
Refinished in high gloss Sapeli Mahogany.
